Cacique was started in 2012 to offer the best destination and adventure experiences in Panama. Since that time we have become an award-winning service leader as a guiding operation and as an agency for the spectacular, fascinating and remote region of Guna Yala, also known as the San Blas islands.
WHOLISTIC GUEST SERVICE 7 DAYS PER WEEK!
We have created detailed systems and process for monitoring and managing every aspect of the trips quality. From the first contact by a guest until the end of their San Blas islands trip Cacique Cruiser works with our team of owners to ensure the experience meets or exceeds guest expectations.
Cacique Cruiser was born an idea in 2008 between 2 friends from California who visited Panama seeking adventure, freedom and viable routes for achieving their dreams.
We have a sincere commitment to sustainable tourism. This includes but goes far beyond protecting the environment in which we operate. Forming relationships with locals and working with them to ensure tourism is carried out in a responsible and respectful manner.
We have trips available every day and for almost every budget. We have been honored with the Tripadvisor Certificate Of Excellence 4 years in a row, and are also recommended by the Lonely Planet.
In 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 these efforts were recognized with the TripAdvisor Certificate of excellence and induction into the Tripadvisor Hall of Fame. In addition we have been recommended in the 2 latest versions of The Lonely Planet.
Our mission is to provide excellent experiences to visitors of Guna Yala and Panama and use tourism as a vehicle to preserve the culture, promote education, and clean up the environment. Meanwhile, we want to be a model of authentic & ethical business and a great employer.
And responsible tourism
Also important to us is being considered an ethical business. We want our business partners, staff, clients, guests, and the community to view our existence positively. We are guided by our Code Of Conduct, which reminds us among other things that we cannot do this alone, and that we are to act as model stewards of tourism, Guna Yala and Panama. We follow all laws, pay well, provide an enjoyable work environment, negotiate fairly, and are honest in all of our interactions.
